Get a World-Class Business Self-Education

Hi Everyone,

I wanted to let you know about a tool I'm developing for marketers called Concept Feedback. As a small business marketer, I never had a great way to get feedback on new concepts, so this is my attempt to create a solution. Hope you like it.

Please feel free to offer feedback, ideas or criticism. Thanks!

Andrew

I like the concept :) How big is your network?

I assume by network, you mean members? We've been growing steadily. We launched a little over 3 months ago and have 2100 members. It takes effort though - more than I thought :)

Thanks Andrew. The reason I asked about the network size is that having a sizable network is one of your critical success factors. I liked how you incorporated a rating system for members.

I signed up - thanks for providing this service!

Interesting site. I have some background in design so I immediately jumped in to review some pieces. I think I could get addicted to commenting on work on your site. What is interesting is that you appear to have missed your original mark only to hit a different one. That is, from what you say in your blurb you were looking for a site where people could float business ideas. What you have ended up with is a site where people can post their web designs for peer review. Perhaps not exactly what you were looking for, but a success just the same. Do you intend to continue to let the service serve this purpose? Do you think you could create another site that would better serve your original idea?

Actually, the original intent was more along the lines of "design feedback", but I have given thought to how it could be translated to business concepts. The site has somewhat taken on a life of it's own, in that it is primarily designers and freelancers, whereas my original intent was to target marketers and entrepreneurs. As things have developed, more and more marketers and professionals have been joining, but I do think I could find more ways to cater to them. Ideally, I will be able to leverage both by providing a service that is valuable to both designers and marketers.
